This detox diet plan includes only 5 different types of foods. When you try it, your body will eliminate all that toxic waste that is accumulated in your body from processed foods, sugar, alcohol, etc.

We don’t want you to completely stay away from these substances, however, you should occasionally take a break and detox your body.

The 5 foods are:

  1. Greek yogurt – probiotic and gut help as well as protein
  2. Blueberries– antioxidants and energy
  3. Almonds– healthy fats and protein

This diet will not starve you. You will be simply eating less and more clean so your body can take a break from all those heavy meals. 3-Day Detox Diet Plan

Breakfast
Protein Smoothie 
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1/2 cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 1/2 cup water

Directions: You should put all the ingredients in a blender and blend well. If you like to have a cold drink, you can add some ice.

If you think that this smoothie will not satisfy your hunger you can cook some egg whites and season them with oregano, pepper, thyme, and basil.

Lunch
Fruit Bowl
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup almonds
  • cinnamon

Directions: Put the Greek yogurt into a bowl and add the other ingredients.

If you still feel hungry after the smoothie, you can make a spinach salad with vinegar.

Dinner
Spinach Salad
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 3 cups of fresh spinach
  • Sliced red onions (1/2 cup to 1 cup)
  • 1/4 cup almonds
  • 1 tbsp. red wine vinegar, balsamic vinegar, or apple cider vinegar

Directions: Put all the ingredients in a bowl and toss the salad.

Detox Drinks
Lemon Water
  • 12-16oz of water
  • 1/2 lime
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 orange
  • 8 mint leaves

This detox drink will eliminate all the toxins from your body, give you some energy, and minimize your headaches.

Other approved drinks: lemon water, green tea and herbal tea (unsweetened), apple cider vinegar water

ACV can really supress your appetite. You can make it by mixing 2 tbsp. of ACV into 10 ounces of water.
